Obituary for James Edward Jernigan
In the early hours of March 21, 2019, James Edward Jernigan joined the departed to live in the house of our Lord.
Ed was the first of four children, he was born in Pensacola, Florida on August 17, 1934 and lived in Gulf Breeze until he was 17 years old.
Ed then joined the U.S. Navy and spent the next 30 years serving his country and fellow man.
He returned to Santa Rosa county in 1995 and stayed here for the remainder of his days.
He is survived by his nephew and niece, and many other family and friends.

Memorial service will be held Friday, March 29, 2019, from 6-8:00 p.m., with Military Honors beginning at 6:30 p.m., at Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton.
