Obituary for Richard Carl Walther
Richard Carl Walther, 67, of Pace, Florida, passed away on March 27, 2019 due to complications with cancer treatment. Richard was born in Pensacola, Florida to William Cecil Walther and Sally Mae Walther on August 1, 1951. Richard is a retired fireman from the Pensacola Fire Department.
Richard is preceded in death by his father, William C. Walther and brother, William “Bill” Walther.
He is survived by his loving wife of forty-nine and a half years, Sharon Walther; son, Richard Scott Walther (Libby); granddaughter, Emma Walther; mother, Sally Mae Walther; sister, Priscilla Hunt; and many nieces, nephews, and his dog, Buddy.
Visitation will be held at 5:00 p.m., Monday, April 1st, 2019 at Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton. Service will immediately follow at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Pensacola Professional Firefighters local 707 or Escambia County Professional Firefighters local 4131.
