Obituary for Wilfred C. Carr

Wilfred Carr was born September 27, 1935, in Antigua and Barbuda, to George Carr and Sarah George of Antigua. He passed away peacefully at his niece's home in Milton, Florida.

Wilfred could accomplish anything he set his mind to do. At a very early age he learned how to use stones by building and creating many things with them. He has decades of experience in commercial construction, designing a wide range of projects including medical buildings, retail stores, car dealerships, municipal buildings and many more. One of his proudest creations is Point Udall at the Eastern part of the United States on the Island of St. Croix where he spent most of his adult life. His side partner and best friend was Mr. James Charles (Veronica).

Mr. Carr is preceded in death by his mother, Sarah George; his son, Clifford Carr; brothers, Ralstan Thomas and Wycliff Wilkinson and his sister, Vera Charles.

He is survived by his son, Steve Carr; sisters, Asylethia Simon and Joycelyn; granddaughters; nephews and nieces, Sandra Baltimore, Alphonso Nicholas, Tony Roberts (Latoya), Hesketh (Ellerine), Judith (Curtis), Jeffery Wilkinson, Dave and Wayne Simon, Desirea Baltimore (Barry) and Sonia Joseph-Ganzy (Ronnie), step nephew and step niece, Danny and Amanda Charles; and a host of great nieces.

He will always be loved and missed by many. Rest in peace Uncle!
