Obituary for Elizabeth "Susie" Brackin
Elizabeth “Susie” Brackin, 75, of Pensacola, FL passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2019.
Susie, as she was affectionately known to her husband Billy Brackin, was a loving wife, mother and “MeMaw”. She loved unconditionally and she was full of life.
Susie was preceded in death by her parents, Buddy Salter and Frances Salter Nobles.
Left behind to cherish her memories are: her beloved husband, Billy Brackin; daughters, Lisa Brewer and Tammy Cameron; 9 granddaughters and 14 great grandchildren.
Susie faced many challenges in past years, but she faced them head on. She was her mother’s caregiver with Billy by her side until her mother’s passing in 2010. Susie’s health issues worsened after her mother’s passing, but this did not stop her. She continued until her final days to reach out to her family and encourage them to stay strong and always be there for each other, with Billy and her beloved dog Tibo always by her side. This fur baby was a huge part of her perseverance and healing.
As we all face sadness and disbelief that she’s gone, we are equally uplifted and encouraged that she is with Our Loving Father in Heaven. Healthy and whole and new, watching over her family! We will see you again…and Rejoice together with our Lord and Saviour.
