Obituary for Clifford Carlton McLean Sr.

Clifford Carlton McLean Sr., 89, of Holt, Florida passed away Friday, June 14, 2019, after a lengthy illness. He was born in Andalusia, Alabama on April 17, 1930.

Clifford graduated from Milton High School. He then joined the Air Force for 4 years where he achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant and was a Radio Operator in the Korean War. He worked for the American Cyanamid, was a Corrections Officer and retired as a Security Guard from the State of Florida.

He was a member of Olivet Baptist Church.

Clifford is preceded in death by his parents, Hector Jefferson McLean and Amanda Elizabeth Thomas McLean; his brothers, Dalton McLean and Ezra McLean; son, Michael McLean; grandson, Trevor Thomas; granddaughter, Jessica Reisen and nephew, Allan Kea.

Clifford is survived by his very special longtime friend, Choi Miller; his sisters: Barbara Chronic, Maxine Hembree and Brenda Stone; his children: Clifford Carlton McLean Jr., Sharon (Mark) Ates, Sheila (Dave) LeBrou, Lisa (John) Reisen and Pam (Dale) Thomas; grandchildren: Chris (Megan) McLean, Sam McLean, Roxy (James) Haikin, Tori McLean, Jamie (Ray) Martinez, Joseph (Katie) Ates, Travis McLean, Cassi (Clifford) Routley, Chase (Kim) Hudson, Reana Reisen, Jonathan Reisen, Whitney Thomas and Marshal Thomas; great-grandchildren: Isabella (Richard) Hall, Kohlmyn McLean, Mayson McLean, Rhyan McLean, Eli Haikin, Sam Haikin, Jaylen Routley, Hudson Routley, Gabriella Reisen, Kadyn Reisen, Addysyn Reisen, Kali Vernon and Chloe Singleton.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 2:00 p.m. until services begin at 3:00 p.m., at Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton, burial to follow at Serenity Gardens Cemetery.
