Louvenia “Carroll” Holland, 77, of Niceville, FL passed away on June 17, 2019. She was born on December 28, 1941 in Niceville, FL to Henry J. and Lou Ella McClellan Griner.
Carroll attended elementary and middle schools in Niceville, FL. She later graduated from Choctawhatchee High School and then earned an AA degree in education at OWCC.
At 18 years old, Carroll began working at Piggly Wiggly where she met the love of her life, Rex Holland. Together they welcomed their first child, Jeff Holland, in 1963; followed by their first daughter in 1965; and their last child in 1975.
Carroll grew up at Niceville Assembly of God with her parents. She was a member of Rosemont Baptist Church where she attended with her children.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Rex Holland; her parents; mother and father-in-law, Henry D. and Myrtie Holland; and brother and sister-in-law, Jr. and Leona Holland.
Survivors include: her children, Jeff Holland, Karla Mordica (Rob), and Cindy Whitegon (Lee); grandchildren: Kyle, Mallory, and Grayson Holland, Kayla, Kristin, and Jayde Whitegon; stepchildren, David Holland, Phoebe Yeager, and Judy Bishop; many other family members and friends.
