Obituary for Angela L. Brewton

My Journey began December 31, 1953 in Milton, FL. I was first born of Willie James Salter and Georgie Parker Salter. My journey lasted for 66 years and ended June 14, 2020.

2 Timothy 4:7 says “I have fought a good fight; I have finished the race; I have kept the faith.” My life was a true testimony to this scripture.

After graduating from Milton High School in 1972, there were few jobs available. However, God blessed me to secure a job with Monsanto where I worked for 20 years until my health failed me.

I joined Isaiah Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church at an early age.

I loved my family and friends and cherished the times I spend with my grandchildren,

Before the end of my journey I was preceded in death by both of my parents.

I leave to cherish my memory one son, Frederick Brewton Jr.; two sisters, Gleta Green, Shelia (Richard) James of Milton, FL; two brothers, Donny Salter of Pensacola, FL, Sean (Martha) Salter Mesa of Arizona; two step-sisters, Angela Griffin of Washington, D.C. ,Terri Griffin of Hannibal, Missouri; five Grandchildren, one Great Grandchild, several nieces and nephews, one devoted cousin, Margaret Beasley and one Aunt, Mary Hill; special friends: Frederick Brewton Sr., Larry Brewton, Alfred Brewton, Emily Hamilton, Michelle Parker, Myra Ewing, Andrea Archie; and a host of friends and relatives.

The Lord has been very good to me and I pray that he continues to watch over my family.
