George Patrick Rogers, 58, of Pensacola passed away on June 19, 2020. He was born on September 23, 1961 in Portsmouth, VA at the Naval Hospital. He was the youngest of eight children.
He moved to Pensacola in 1965 where he graduated from Pine Forest High School in 1979.
George married his wife, Lisa in 1981. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and Pawpaw. George was also a great cook
George retired from the U. S. Airforce, then later retired from Civil Service in October 2017.
Preceded in death by his parents, O B Jackson Rogers and Maude Rogers and five siblings.
George leaves to cherish his memories: loving wife of 39 years, Lisa Rogers; children, Amber (George) Jordan and Ian; grandchildren, Makayla, and Madison; sister, Peggy (Jesse) Wallace; Ron (Barbara) Rogers and a host of nieces, nephews relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until funeral service begins at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 29, 2020 at Trahan Family Funeral Home with burial to follow at Barrancas National Cemetery.
