Obituary for Mark Anderson Cawthon

Brother Mark A. Cawthon was born on August 13, 1955 in Milton, Florida to the late Ms. Anice Leora Cawthon.

Brother Mark professed Christ at an early age. He received his education from Milton High School where he graduated class of 1975. He went on to join the U.S. Army before returning home to work at Vanity Fair in Milton, Florida and the Bird Factory in Jay, Florida. Mark lived a full life and will be missed by all who knew him.

Brother Mark departed this life after a brief battle with cancer on July 3, 2020. He is preceded in death by his loving mother, Anice Cawthon; Grandparents, Allister and Hilda Cawthon; and three children.

He leaves to cherish his memory a wife, Sheena Penton Cawthon; three children: Kayla Cawthon, Draper Morgan, and Angela Brewer; a stepdaughter, Shanice Lacey; two devoted sisters, Regenia Bargneare (Willy) and Libby Pinkney (Joel); four grandchildren; one great grandson; one uncle, Billy Cawthon; one aunt, Ella Cawthon; four nephews: Michael Rushing, Joel Pinkney, Jr., Caesar Rushing, Jr., and Keith Pinkney; four nieces: Gayla Rich, Karen Benson, Paula Pinkney, and Anicia Pinkney; great nieces: Brittney and Montrell who helped care for Mark; a special friend, Marian Cawthon; and a host of friends and loved ones.
