Obituary for Vernalene Harville
Vernalene Harville, 83, passed away on July 9, 2020. She was born on October 11, 1936, in Colquitt, Georgia to John and Myrtice (Miller) White.
Mamaw, as most everyone called her, loved to fish and cook. She cooked for the children and the church for many years. Her family was her world and loved to share meals with them.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, brothers: John B. White, Jr and C. M. White, and sisters: Waver Flowers, Vera Thompson, and Ruth Carano.
Vernalene is survived by: her husband of 66 years, Orland L. Harville; children, Bobby D. Harville (Carol) and Karen D. McKinley (David); Grandchildren: Leslie Taylor, Missy Taylor (Mark), Michelle Sieloff (Eric), Kimberly Johnson (Joe), Jamie Stabler (Steven), Chad McKinley (Crystal), and Kyle McKinley (Dede); 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Grace Moore; brother, Walton Lee White; and a host of other family and friends.
Services will be held Monday, July 13, 2020 at Pace Assembly of God Church. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral begins at 2:00 p.m. The family will have a private burial at Barrancas National Cemetery.
