1962 - 2020
Rhonda Hilton Fulfer, 57 born July 4th, 1962 went home to her Lord on Thursday July 2nd, 2020.
Rhonda was a woman of indomitable spirit. She fought Metastatic Breast Cancer since 2008 and graduated to her heavenly home after 12 years of overcoming faith, rejuvenating energy and limitless joy. Now she is beyond cancer’s reach and she is receiving her everlasting peace.
She is survived by her husband Joey Paul Fulfer; daughters, Toni Marie Tamburello (Brent) Patton, Charity Miracle Fulfer, Destiny Nations Fulfer; son, Caleb James Fulfer; parents, Cranston Steven Hilton, Jr and Carolyn Louise Joiner Hilton; brother, Cranston Steven Hilton III; sister, Robin Hilton Mosley; grandchildren, Gabriel Michael Patton, Aidan Anthony Brent Patton, Isabella Grace Patton, Jace Rhett Wyatt.
Rhonda had a motto that she lived by, it was “Trust God, love people and walk with Integrity”. She made the word of God her guiding light and strove to let that light shine through her. Rhonda was energetic and enthusiastic about life and demonstrated her love for people everywhere she went. She was the voice of the Lord to so many people and spoke of the greatness of God and his plan for each of our lives. There are lives all over the world that have been impacted by this little dynamo, born of the fourth of July and she was a firecracker! If ever there was someone who listened to God’s voice and obeyed, it was her.
I remember one time she called me and said, “I met these young men and their car is broke down, I told them you would fix it.” Then she proceeded to speak to them like a mother would and spoke to them of God’s plan and purpose for their lives. I fixed their car, but Rhonda fixed their brokenness by the insight of the Holy Spirit.
Rhonda encouraged you to be better than you were and had faith the God was working in you. She would say that God exposes things to dispose of them. He exposes the things that sometimes can be embarrassing, sinful, or outright wrong in our lives in order to dispose of the negative cycle they create. “God’s plan for us is good, not evil”, she would say “to give us hope and a future, you can TRUST God”.
Rhonda’s favorite thing was being family and friends. There was not a missed opportunity when it came to having guest in her home. It was nothing to have 30-50 people in our home or at the fish-camp. We will miss her greatly. She has left a tremendous legacy for us to receive. Trust God, Love people and Walk with Integrity.
