Obituary for Maria Cristina Welch
Maria "Cristina" Welch, December 14, 1947 - September 4, 2020
With profound sadness we announce the passing of Cristina, our loving and devoted mother. She left us while sleeping peacefully at her son's residence in Milton, FL. She was 72 years old.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Burl Welch, parents, Sebastian Muñoz and Alicia Caceres, sister, Thelma Caceres, and brother, Calin Caceres.
Born in Guatemala, she lived there until she met Burl and moved to the United States, eventually settling in Bogalusa, LA. She lived a fulfilling life as a mother, sister, wife, and friend.
She is survived by her two sons and daughters in love, Cesar (Patricia May)Welch of Angie, LA and Jose (Nicole) Welch of Milton, FL, her grandchildren, Tericia T. Welch and Cesar A Welch II, as well as numerous extended family in Guatemala.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date to celebrate the life of such a wonderful woman.

Le precedieron en la muerte su esposo, Burl Welch, padres, Sebastián Muñoz y Alicia Caceres, hermana, Thelma Caceres, y hermano, Calin Caceres.
Nacio en Guatemala, vivió allí hasta que conoció a Burl y se mudó a los Estados Unidos, y finalmente se instaló en Bogalusa, LA. Vivió una vida plena como madre, hermana, esposa y amiga.
Le sobreviven sus dos hijos e nueras, Cesar (Patricia May) Welch de Angie, LA y Jose (Nicole) Welch de Milton, FL, sus nietos, Tericia T. Welch y Cesar A Welch II, así como numerosos familia extensa en Guatemala.
En una fecha posterior se llevará a cabo un servicio conmemorativo privado para celebrar la vida de una
