Obituary for Katie Kristen Driggers
On friday, November 13th, 2020 Katie Kristen Driggers, loving mother, daughter, sister and friend, passed away suddenly at age 29.
Katie was born on June 19th, 1991 in Swainsboro, GA. She graduated from Pace High School in 2009 and attended Locklin Technical School pursuing her CNA certification. On April 6th, 2016 she became a mother to Rowland Erich Martens.
She enjoyed spending time at the beach, fishing, gardening and enjoyed bonfires with friends and family. She was known for her kind and caring spirit as well as her unwavering sense of humor and adventure.
Katie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Danny Rowland and Guy “Moe” Mosley.
She is survived by her son Rowland Martens, parents Diane and Joey Winslow, brothers JP Driggers and Junior Winslow, sister Megan Broxson and several nieces and a nephew.
Funeral service and visitation will be held at Trahan Family Funeral Home, Milton Chapel. Visitation is on Friday, November 20, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Service will be on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. The family asks in lieu of flowers to make a donation to assist in covering the funeral expenses if you feel led to do so.
