Obituary for Mary Evelyn English

Mary Evelyn English, 67 of Milton, Florida transitioned to her heavenly home on Saturday, November 21, 2020. She was born seventh of ten children to Namon Crawford and Ruth Davis Crawford on May 23, 1953 in Sharon Hill, Pennsylvania. She attended and graduated from the Pleasantville School District, Pleasantville, New Jersey.
She married during her early adult years and traveled extensively around the world for over twenty years with her husband and family through the United States Air Force. During these travels she occasionally held various employment opportunities. She also attended various houses of worship during this time to provide a stable and spiritual foundation for her family.
Upon settling at McGuire Air Force Base, New Jersey her real journey began. Mary became known to many and will always be remembered as a great woman of God, a woman of much prayer, a preacher, a warrior and a great encourager of God’s wisdom to many in times of peace and in times of distress.
Mary was an ordained and gifted Elder of the gospel and used her prophetic and revelatory giftings throughout the body of Christ to bless and touch many along the way.
She attended the Eagles Nest Christian Fellowship School of the Prophets in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She held an integral part of the establishment of the True Servant Bible Institute of the True Servant Worship and Praise Church in Hamilton, New Jersey along with many other leadership positions. She was an interim Assistant Pastor for St. John Divine Missionary Baptist Church in Milton, Florida.
Her missionary travels included two journeys to the continent of Africa where she had the opportunity to minister and set captives free.
In 2003, Mary traveled to Milton, Florida to care for her mother where she remained after her mother’s passing. She was employed with the Santa Rosa County District Court in Milton, Florida. She was also a current member of Pace Assembly Ministries in Pace, Florida.
Her final message to us all “ All is well with my soul”
Mary was predeceased by her daughter, Chartega, her son James, her brothers; Donald, David, Richard, Peter, sisters; Gloria, Delores.
She is survived by her loving son, Ivan of Aberdeen, Maryland, grandchildren, Deja Marie, James, Justin, Olivia; one great-granddaughter, Naomi. A dear brother, Luie Crawford and his wife Katherine(Kat) of Milton, Florida. Cherished sisters; Ressola(Sonny) McCullom of West Chester, Pennsylvania, Madeline(Edwin)Smith of Fayetteville, North Carolina. A dear friend, LaVerne Pope of Bordentown, New Jersey. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, colleagues who loved her dearly.
