Obituary for Clayton R. McLeod
Clayton R. McLeod, 96, of Pace passed away on January 2, 2021. He was born in Covington County, AL on December 6, 1924.
Clayton was a Sergeant in the U.S. Army in WWII. After the war, he returned to Andalusia, AL where he resided until 1966 when he moved to Pace, FL. He worked at Chemstrand/Monsanto until he retired in 1985.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle McLeod and his granddaughter, Kasey DeAnda.
Survivors include: Children: Gwen (Forest) Myers, Teresa McLeod, Betty McLeod, and Kim McLeod; two grandchildren, Shawn Martin and Jacob Burkins; four great-grandchildren: Kyle Myers, Rhea DeAnda, Vera Martin, and Madi Martin.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Trahan Family Funeral Home, Milton Chapel. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at 1:00 also at the funeral home with Rev. Danny Brock officiating.
Burial will follow at Serenity Gardens Cemetery.
