Eugene Rippstein
September 29, 1932 – January 6, 2021
Eugene Rippstein, 88, went to be with the Lord in the early hours of January 6, 2021. His childhood was spent enjoying the outdoors and fishing. Eugene was longshoreman at the city docks and a shrimper. He proudly served his country as a Marine.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Bert and Annie Rippstein; wife, Nina Rippstein; and brothers, Bert and Karl Rippstein.
Left to cherish his memories are his children, Ricky Eugene, David, Gary, Pam, and Donna; his brother, Ernest Rippstein.
Family and Friends will meet at Trahan Family Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 9:00 am. Interment will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery at 10:00 am, with Pastor Gene Hudson officiating.
