Obituary for Verdette LaFaye Ford
Mrs. Verdette Ford attended Pensacola High School and graduated in 1985. She met and married Kelvin Ford. In this union, they were blessed with one beauty daughter, Brianna Ford. She also graduated from Roffler Technical Institute in the late 80’s. Mrs. Ford became a member of The Church of the Living God and loved working for God until she became ill. Mrs. Ford worked for Baptist Hospital for 33 years.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Robert “Bobby” Mitchell, Jr.
With loving memories remaining in their hearts, she leaves to mourn, her husband, Kelvin Ford; one daughter, Brianna Ford; mother, Lafaye Mitchell, of Pensacola; father, Robert L. (Wanda) Mitchell; and brother, Marc (Lois) Mitchell, both of West Palm Beach, FL. A sister-in-law, Mattie Taylor; 2 brothers-in-law, David Gaston and Kenneth Ford all of Pensacola, FL. A special friend, Clarette Blount and Kenny Rich and a host of other relatives and friends.
