Valade
Obituary for Charles Valade
1944 - 2017
Charles Valade was born in Connecticut to Aldore and Sophia Podosek Valade in 1944. He passed away on April 28, 2017.
He was raised on Ludlow, Massachusetts and graduated from Ludlow High School in June of 1962. He was an active member of the Civil Air Patrol and attained the rank of Cadet Commander. In August of 1962, Chuck joined the U.S Air Force. His specialty was Security Police. His 20-year career took him around the world including one tour in Viet Nam during the war. In 1964, he and Sandy Nelson were married and the union produced two sons.
Chuck retired in Aug 1982 at the rank of MSGT. He settled in Pensacola, FL and began a second career as an automotive mechanic, mainly at Sam’s Auto Center. In 1996 Chuck remarried to Sandy Harden Walker.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy; 3 sons and 1 daughter, Jay Valade, Jamie Valade, Chris Walker and Alexandria Ornelas; 3 sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews.
