Obituary for Franklin D Guthrie
Franklin D. Guthrie
March 13, 1933 – November 23, 2017
Mr. Guthrie went to be with the Lord on November 23, 2017. Franklin served during the Korean War and then married Alice Baca. They were married 55 years until her death in 2012, Franklin had one son, Michael Guthrie, deceased in July 2017.
Mr. Guthrie is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Littlejohn; son-in-law, Kevin Littlejohn; two grandsons, James Littlejohn, Dustin Johnson; three granddaughters, Angela Johnson, Alyssa Guthrie, Kaci Guthrie; and one brother, Horace Guthrie.
Mr. Guthrie was a member of the Sons of the Confederate Veterans. He was a God-fearing man and deeply cared for his family and friends. Franklin will truly be missed.
Franklin will be buried in his family’s cemetery in Mullins, TX; and a service will be held at a later date.
