Smith
Obituary for Kay Cushing Smith
She was a member Margaret Street Church of Christ. Through all her suffering, she has been strong in her faith, never wavering in her love for Christ.
Her love for her children and husband was immeasurable.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and one grandson.
Survivors include: her husband, Glenn Smith; her children: Angela H. Thompson, Alan C. Smith, Aaron K. Smith, and Alden K. Smith; her grandchildren, Seth Thompson and Knox Thompson; her siblings: Joyce Hubbell, Harlan Potts, Jerry Cushing, Jimmy Cushing, Janice Cushing Smith, and Troy Potts.
Trahan Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Margaret Street Church of Christ with Minister Preston Silcox, officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until the funeral service begins.
Burial will follow at Bayview Memorial Park Cemetery.
Flowers are welcome or memorial may be made to a favorite charity.
