Obituary for Sylvia Annette Baker
Sylvia Annette Baker was born on August 22, 1964 to John W. Baker and Bettye Allen Pinkney.
A Time To Serve
She accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age, and she graduated from Milton High School and Pensacola Junior College.
A Time to Work
She worked at Annette Pooley’s Rest Home until her health began to fail.
A Time To Die
On January 5, 2018, God called her home to receive an eternal rest. Precious memories will always remain with those who loved her so dearly. She is preceded in death by her brother, Tony L. Baker. She leaves to cherish her memories: a loving and devoted mother, Bettye Allen Pinkney; a loving and devoted father, John W. Baker (Rosetta Baker); three beautiful hard-working, willing, and dependable daughters who were there with her from the beginning to the end, through the good and the bad: Tangela Samuel (Arlisha Samuel); Tiffany Perry (Kelix Waite); and Jessica Perry (Rochener Cadet); Two grandchildren, Hazel Baker and Olivia Samuel; four sisters: Anices Pinkney; April Pinkney; Rebecca Pinkney; and Susan Frazier (Cordarro Frazier); three brothers: Thaddeous Baker; Jeffery Allen; and Steven Pinkney; a host of aunties and uncles, nieces and nephews, family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
