Harvey Hixon Carroll, Sr.
August 17, 1946 - March 16, 2018
Harvey Hixon Carroll, Sr., 71, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 16, 2018. He was born on August 17, 1946 to his loving parents, Helen Martha Elsperman and Frank Carroll in Pensacola, FL.
Harvey was one of seven children. At nineteen, he was married. In his life he had four biological children and one adopted daughter. He was always a father first and always made sure that his family was happy and taken care of. Harvey worked for many years as a truck driver, he could turn an eighteen-wheeler around on a dime.
He now walks alongside the Lord with his mother, Helen Elsperman; father, Frank Carroll; siblings, Gene Elsperman, Leonard “Billy” Carroll, Jerry “Peanut” Carroll, and Susie Carroll.
His memory forever lives on in the hearts of his siblings, Sam Carroll, Faye (Stanley) Hobbs, Linda (Kenneth) McGhee; children, Angel (Jay) Struble, Harvey (Karen) Carroll, Jr., John Carroll, Joanna (Bart) Mangiapanella, Deanna DiLavore; grandchildren, Nichol Struble, Michael Struble, Sabrina Mangiapanella, Angelina Mangiapanella, Nicolas Mangiapanella, Olivia Mangiapanella, Brittnie Spears, Bradley Carroll, Hannah DiLavore, Sophia DiLavore, Stephanie Carroll, Tiffany Carroll; and numerous extended family and friends.
A service will be held in honor of Harvey’s life at Trahan Family Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 3:30 p.m. The family will be receiving guests at 2:30 p.m.
Trahan Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
