Obituary for Rebecca Leann Blum

On the morning of March 19, 2018, Rebecca “Becca” LeAnn Young Blum passed away surrounded by family at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, FL. Becca was born July 6, 1981 in Pensacola Florida and grew up with her family.
Becca was an avid rock painter and used that to try to help boost people’s spirits any way she could. She would often buy little statues in stores then take them home and repaint them to give them a personal touch. She loved her pets unconditionally.
Her mother, Marilyn Little-Young sadly passed from similar complications from cancer.
Becca’s husband, Cecil Earl Blum supported her in every decision she ever made and she supported him the same way. They stayed by each other’s side through everything they went through. Rachel Lynn had been her friend for more than 26 years, making her more of a family member and sister to Becca. Her father, Fred Young and brother, Dee Young remain in Pensacola. She has an extensive family that ranges up the east coast and inland to Oklahoma. From her maternal side, the Little family, Aunt Sherrie Little Jordan, Uncle Wayland Ronnie Little, Aunt Glenda Little Winborne and their respective children. On her father’s side, the Young Family, Aunt Carolyn Barnet, Uncle Jimmy Young, Aunt Sylvia Young, Aunt Jane Philips, Uncle Lynn Young, Uncle Joe Young, Aunt Teresa Rose, Aunt Barbara Sherrit, and Aunt Jan Young and their respective children.
Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton, 6539 Trammel Drive, is in charge of arrangements.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Serenity Gardens Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 23, 2018 also at the funeral home.
