Obituary for Minnie "Jackie" Lee Teston

Minnie “Jackie” Lee Teston, 85, passed away peacefully on the 15th of July, 2018 in Milton, Florida. Jackie was born the 24th of January, 1933 in McMinnville, Tennessee to Willie Pearl Ginn. After completing her education, she worked for RCA until she met the love of her life, Bob Teston. Jackie and Bob moved throughout the country during his service in the United States Army, before settling in Milton, Florida. They raised 7 children and were active members of their community and church.

Jackie will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and granny who was passionate about reading, traveling, cooking, shopping and gardening. She touched the hearts of many and was a true blessing to all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Bob, their son Joseph Teston and great-grandchild Roxanne Deloach.

Jackie is survived by her children, Bruce (Sherri) Teston, Pamela Deloach, Carl (Sally) Teston, Bobby (Suzanne) Teston, Debbie (Barry) McDonald, Mary (Craig) Kittrell, 15 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren and her best friend Charlotte Teston.

Pallbearers will be Scott Teston, Daniel Perkins, Derek Perkins, David Beach, Joseph Kittrell and Michael DeLoach.

The celebration of Jackie’s life will be held on the 19th of July, 2018 at Trahan Funeral Home in Milton, Florida. Visitation will begin at 2:30 pm followed by the funeral procession at 4:00 pm with interment at Historic Milton Cemetery.
