Wingate
Obituary for Stephen Ashley Wingate
Stephen worked in various trades after high school and became proficient in mechanical and electrical applications. He never met a stranger, his personality and his heart wouldn’t allow for it. Everyone he met was treated like his extended family rather than just a friend.
Stephen’s ability to listen and help will be sorely missed in this world. He has left a mark on the ones he has touched and a footprint here that will survive the erosion of time.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Tina Lloyd Stubbs.
Survivors include: his father and step-mom, Michael and Tracy Wingate of Jay, FL; his two children, Lyrik and Chloe; six brothers, Justin and Alexander Wingate, Zachery and Preston Stubbs, and Cody and Colt Hitt; four sisters, Sara, Sierra, Michaela, and Isabelle Wingate; and numerous cousins.
Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton, 6539 Trammel Dr., is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the funeral service begins at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 31, 2018 at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Serenity Gardens Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations for his childrens’ trust fund may be mailed to: Regions Bank in care of Michael Wingate, 6650 Caroline St., Milton, FL 32570.
